Thera-Clean® Microbubble Cleaning System.

In 2012 Dr. James Zarowny was sent as a consultant for a prominent Canadian company to investigate an exciting skin cleansing technology being used extensively in veterinary hospitals and grooming salons throughout Japan. Completely unheard of in North America, “micro-bubble deep skin cleaning” had already changed the approach to skin health in all major Japanese cities.

Originally developed and researched at the University of Tokyo for multiple applications, Japanese veterinarians and groomers had adopted the process for use on pets. Dr. Zarowny discovered that fellow veterinarians had incorporated the technology into their primary dermatology protocols and had teamed with groomers to continue the process to promote long term skin health. While he was excited about the potential, his sponsors could not see a fit to their corporate structure so after purchasing and using a machine back in Canada he looked elsewhere for backing.

Enter Thera-clean Microbubbles Inc. and their President, Kyle Darling. Excited but skeptical, Kyle too went to Japan to see firsthand. After verifying for himself the amazing results being obtained and as a fervent pet person, he decided to dedicate all of his energy and resources into bringing proper micro-bubble deep cleaning to North America.

There is a difference between “soap clean” skin and micro-bubble clean” skin and the difference makes a huge improvement to overall skin health. It is our mission to communicate and demonstrate to pet owners, veterinary hospitals and grooming salons across North America, the critical importance of truly clean skin for pet health. With dogs in need the world over, Mr. Fujikawa brought his discovery to North America where he persuaded Dr. James Zarowny, a veterinarian with a keen interest in dermatology, to do extensive trials with his unit. The success of that encounter resulted in the formation of Thera-Clean®.
