Paw Avenue double bathes and conditions every coat. We begin by brushing the coat prior to bathing to evaluate the condition of the coat and help stimulate healthy blood flow to the skin.

The first bath begins the breakdown of dirt and debris, while the second bath provides a soothing cleanse using aromatherapy shampoos to remove any remaining dirt and oils from the coat. Paw Avenue uses high-quality professional grooming products, including Nexderma® Herbal Shampoo and lavender aromatherapy shampoos, selected to support healthy skin and coat care.

We then condition the coat using Nexderma® Conditioner to help restore your dog's natural oils, leaving the skin feeling soft, healthy, and moisturized. 

Regular spa baths help maintain healthy skin and coat condition and are recommended every 4–6 weeks for many pets as part of a healthy coat care routine.

Each spa bath includes:

• Blueberry facial
• Blow-dry
• Thorough brush-out
• Ear check and cleaning with research-backed Nexderma® Advanced Otic Cleaner
• Paws and feet using a citrus-based aromatherapy paw shampoo.
• Nail trimming and buffing (if the canine allows)
• Bandanna and finishing cologne or perfume spritz

For pets that experience heavier shedding, we incorporate our Shed Control Treatment, which focuses on removing loose undercoat through specialized bathing, conditioning, and brushing techniques. While grooming cannot completely eliminate shedding, this process can significantly reduce loose hair and help maintain a healthier, more manageable coat.

Because of the additional coat work involved, a spa shed control treatment requires more time and is performed slightly differently than a regular spa bath.  Our spa baths are especially popular for short-coated and smooth-coated breeds that benefit from regular deep cleaning and coat maintenance.

Extra-long single-coated canines and heavily compacted double-coated canines may require additional grooming time and may incur additional charges.

Anal glands can be checked upon request by the pet parent. If the glands are easily expressed externally, we will express them. Paw Avenue does not perform internal gland expression. If the glands are compacted or difficult to express, or if your pet shows any discomfort, your veterinarian will need to perform the procedure.

Please note that these are starting prices for regularly groomed canines and are subject to change depending on coat condition, coat length, and grooming needs.
