Paw Avenue Spa Bath
Paw avenue double bathes and conditions every coat. We brush the coat before bathing to check the condition of the coat and to stimulate the blood flow to the skin. The first bath starts the break down of dirt and debris whereas the second bath is soothing for the canine with the use of aromatherapy shampoos to remove any remainder dirt and oils from the coat. We condition the coat to help restore your dog's natural oils, leaving the skin feeling elastic and moisturized. The spa bath includes a blueberry facial, blow-dry, brush-out, ears are checked and cleaned with research backed nexderma advanced otic cleaner. Paws and feet are deep cleaned with specialty citrus based aromatherapy paw shampoo, nails are always trimmed and buffed (if canine allows.) Spa bath also includes bandanna, cologne or perfume spritz and a de-shed for double coated dogs. The bathing process for a spa de-shed is more time consuming and done a little different than a regular spa bath. Extra-long single coated canines and heavily compacted double coated canines will have additional charges. We also check anal glands if requested by pet-parent. Glands are checked and if they are easily expressed, we will do them. We do not express internally and if your canine shows any sign of discomfort, has compacted, or hard to reach glands, your veterinary will have to express.
